Quotes to ponder

Shelley Estes Pagach (@ShelleyEstesPag) has shared a Tweet with you: “motivation: “He who is drowned is not troubled by the rain.” – Chinese Proverb http://t.co/ZPNsps3S” –http://twitter.com/motivation/status/264094466200199168 Does this disturb anyone else by me?

At first glance, I found it ironically humorous, but then I got to thinking about it and it bothered me.

Death and drowning should be no laughing matter. There is no hope in that proverb. I see a dead man face down in a puddle of water, getting drenched with rain.

Where is the wisdom in that? Any thoughts?
